Web Accessibility: Inclusive UI/UX That Also Helps SEO

Accessible design is good ethics and good business. It improves usability, legal risk, and often search performance.

Inclusive workplace technology representing web accessibility

Accessibility decides whether people can use your product at all. Inclusive UI/UX is good ethics, lower legal risk, and often better SEO and conversion.

Minimum bar we ship by default

  • Color contrast that aims for WCAG AA where practical
  • Full keyboard navigation for interactive flows
  • Visible focus states that are not removed for aesthetics
  • Meaningful alt text for informative images
  • Labels on every form field
  • Semantic headings and landmarks
  • Error messages that explain how to fix the problem
  • Accessibility helps search and usability

Clean structure, readable text alternatives, and descriptive media make pages easier for people and crawlers. Many accessibility fixes also improve Core Web Vitals and clarity for everyone.

    Mobile is an accessibility surface

Most traffic is mobile. Touch targets, zoom behavior, sticky overlays, and performance are accessibility issues, not just "mobile polish".

    Testing that catches real problems

Automate what you can, then test with keyboard only and with a screen reader on critical paths: signup, checkout, contact, and account settings.

    Inclusive content

Write plainly. Avoid instructions that rely only on color ("click the red button"). Provide captions and transcripts for media when the content matters.
